I am so excited to share some art projects this summer with kids in the neighborhood!

Art Camp Dates: July 11-15th

Time: 2-3pm

Location: Bellcove Studio (Lois Shumway’s house 9270 Bellcove Circle)

Ages: 7-15 (Projects can be simplified or applied at an advanced level)

Cost: $10 per day

Supplies: All included!

What we will be creating: Drawings, Paintings, Pastels, and Sun Prints

Outdoor Sketching and Drawing Practice— Outdoor drawing scavenger hunt and silly drawing exercises to kickstart our creativity for the week!

Tuesday, July 12
Pastel Tiger Drawing: Part 1 - Drawing our tiger & background and outlining using a special glue technique.

Wednesday, July 13
Pastel Tiger Drawing: Part 2 - Filling in our tiger drawing and blending using chalk pastels.

Thursday, July 14
Cyanotypes- Found object and cut paper sun prints.

Friday, July 15
3D Gem Galaxy Painting: Drawing and painting 3D shapes and gems, painting a galaxy background.
